Oronasal Fistula Avoidance and Repair with Simone Kirby

The British Veterinary Dental Association is proud to present the Talking Teeth (virtual) Tour 2022. Bringing you live veterinary dentistry CPD every month through 2022 to help make dentistry easier in general practice.

Join us this evening for a live discussion about Oronasal Fistula Avoidance and Repair.

Oronasal fistula surgical repair is a procedure that can be performed by an practitioner who is comfortable with surgical extraction technique. The extra steps to be considered when an oronasal fistula is present will be discussed in detail. Just as important is the avoidance of oronasal fistula formation during extraction work in the maxilla: We will discuss how to recognise when an extraction site has the risk of forming a fistula, and how to address this.

The Talking Teeth (virtual) Tour evening meetings can be purchased individually, or are available free to all BVDA members (membership starts at just £30 a year and is free for vet students).
